  • Blue Mosque: It was built by the Ottoman Sultan Ahmed I between 1609-1617 in the name of the architect Sedefkar Mehmed Aga. It has a main dome, six minarets and eight secondary domes. The interior of the mosque is covered with more than 20,000 handmade ceramics. Due to the blue ceramic coatings, guests call the mosque the "Blue Mosque".
  • Hagia Sophia: It is considered the oldest cathedral in the world. It was also converted from a church to a mosque. It ranks fourth in terms of surface area. It served as a church for 916 years and as a mosque for 481 years, thus it has great importance for both Christianity and Islam. The mosque, which was used as a museum in the recent past, currently operates as a mosque.
  • Topkapi Palace: The palace served as the residence of the Ottoman Sultans and the administrative and educational center of the state in the past. It was built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet II between 1460-1478. It is considered the palace that took the longest to be built. It was accepted as the first museum of the Republic period.
  • Grand Bazaar: There are approximately 4000 shops in the Grand Bazaar. It is one of the most important points of tourism. There are shops selling various souvenirs inside.
